Jaipur: Tickets for this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL) matches at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium go on sale from 9 pm on Monday, with prices ranging from Rs 1,800 for the cheapest seat to Rs 40,000 for the most expensive, according to the Rajasthan Royals management. Rajasthan Royals will play four home matches at SMS Stadium this season.
Online sales will be handled on the District by Zomato platform. The Royals management said offline ticket counters will be opened near the stadium and at select locations across the city shortly; until then, booking will be online only.
The first match put on sale is the Rajasthan Royals versus Delhi Capitals fixture on May 1. Tickets for the April 25 home game are expected to go live shortly.
On the price structure, the East Stand has been fixed as the lowest-priced category at Rs 1,800, Rs 300 dearer than last season. The Dream Lounge remains the top tier at Rs 40,000, giving the season a price band of Rs 1,800 to Rs 40,000. Rate cards for the Bikaner Rooftop, Sambhar Lounge, Ajmer Rooftop, North East Lawn, North West Lawn, East Lawn 1 and East Lawn 2 have not yet been released.
No concessional student pricing has been announced so far. The franchise is expected to take a call on student tickets closer to the opening of offline sales.
The Royals management has indicated that ticket prices for the four Jaipur matches may be revised upward depending on demand for individual games. Buyers are advised to book early for high-demand fixtures and to use only the official online platform to avoid inflated secondary-market prices.
