Jaipur: The process of interviews for RAS exam – 2016 will begin from August 2. Jats from Dholpur and Bharatpur districts will be considered for selection in the general category. The candidates who have applied in Special Backward Classes (SBC) category will be considered in OBC.
Detailed guidelines for applying for the interview were issued on the RPSC website on Monday. The guidelines made it clear that even if Jat community candidates applied under OBC category, they would be considered in general category. The RSPC has directed these candidates to bring a postal order of Rs 100 with additional fee applicable in their case.
The candidates who applied in SCB category will have to bring a freshly issued caste certificate with them.
The option of choosing service priority has been made available online on the commission’s website : rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
Candidates have been asked to choose the service priority by July 10.
No changes will be possible after a candidate chooses a specific service category.
The interviews for RAS exam – 2016 will be held till August 30.
The recruitments will be for 725 posts of Rajasthan administrative service (RAS). Of them, 334 posts for RAS category, while 391 are for subordinate services. Interviews will be conducted from 9 am to 1.30 pm daily.
