Jaipur: International students at Poornima University (PU), Jaipur, were given a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Indian culture during the Diwali festival. The university organized visits for these students to the homes of local students and faculty members, where they joined in Diwali prayers and celebrations. The festivities included fireworks and traditional sweets, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. Hosts such as Samir, Gaurav, Anand Jha, Dr. Pragya, and Dr. Monika from the university welcomed the guests with great hospitality.
Rahul Singhi, Co-founder of Poornima University, shared that the number of international students enrolled in various courses has now surpassed 100. These students come from diverse countries, including Zimbabwe, Mali, South Africa, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Sudan, Gambia, Lesotho, Swaziland, and Liberia. Their presence not only broadens the university’s academic environment but also enhances its global appeal.
The international students bring with them diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching campus life and fostering a global academic atmosphere.
