International and national artists perform in ‘The Music Stage’ at JKK

The festival started on November 1 and will conclude on Saturday. Performances by international and national artists of Jodhpur RIFF 2018 and Rajasthani folk artists are the highlights of the programme.

Jaipur: Three-day music festival ‘The Music Stage’ is being hosted by the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) in Jaipur. The festival started on November 1 and will conclude on Saturday. Performances by international and national artists of Jodhpur RIFF 2018 and Rajasthani folk artists are the highlights of the programme.

The visitors on the second day of the event witnessed faceoff between Jazz and western classical music. The visitors enjoyed the music played by Bush Gothic from Australia and Makan Ashgvari from Iran at the JKK on Friday.

Many national and international artists and musicians are performing at the music festival.
The second-day event kicked off with the performance by the Bush Gothic from Australia. The Band is known for its traditional Australian music. After the Australian band, Makan Ashgvari from Iran set the aura with their outstanding music.

The 3-day music festival ‘The Music Stage’ kicked off at Jawahar Kala Kendra with a fusion of folk music from Spain by the Tanxugueiras and renditions by the Manganiyar and Langaa music communities of Rajasthan on Thursday.

The entry ticket to this festival is Rs 50 per person, which are available at the JKK reception.

You can visit the Live Drumming by Gene Peterson and Live Beatboxing by Tom Thum with Rajasthani fusion at 6:30 pm on Saturday. After this, Rajasthani folk music and dance traditions of Rajasthan will be showcased at the stage from 7:30 pm onwards.
