Indian, Russia airforce soldiers to engage in war drill at Jodhpur airbase from Dec 10
Russian Air Force will learn war skills from Indian air force soldiers with Indian fighter aircrafts in the war exercise (mock drill). This maneuver has already begun at airbase of Russia on September 9, for which 30 teams of Indian air force has gone to Russia to learn skills from them.

Jaipur: The Indian air force with its Russian counterpart will conduct the biggest war game (joint war drill exercise) called ‘Avindra’ with fighter aircrafts on Asia’s largest Jodhpur airbase from December 10 to December 22.
Russian Air Force will learn war skills from Indian air force soldiers through Indian fighter aircraft in the war exercise (war drill). This maneuver had already begun at Airbase of Russia on September 9, for which 30 teams of Indian air force went to Russia to learn skills from them.
The drill in Russia will continue till September 28 and after Russia, the war game ‘Avindra’ will start at Jodhpur airbase.
The 30 teams of Indian air force soldiers have gone to Russia to attend the biggest war drill. Four women air force officials including pilots, Admin and Medical Branch also went to Russia to attend the maneuver. The women pilot will operate and fly the helicopter at Russia.
The Indian Airforce teams will demonstrate their skills with a carrier aircraft such as the Russian fighter aircraft Sukhoi Su-30. SM, Mikoyan MiG-29, Sukhoi -25, helicopter Mil Mi-8 and Antonov An-26.

- Fighter pilots of both the countries will exchange the war tactics of their fighter aircraft.
- Ground staff will prepare for several operations during the wargame.
- Focus on fighter operations, group fighter skills, high air targets will be there.
- Both countries’ air force soldiers will fly fighter aircraft and will learn the war tactics of each other’s nation.
Russia’s air force will learn how to combat terrorism from Indian air force. These maneuvers at Russia and India will decide the future of many important defense deals between the two nations. The dialogue will be established between the warriors of both the countries, they will also play several games together during the drill.
