JAIPUR: IAS officer Riya Dabi, the younger sister of Jaisalmer Collector Tina Dabi, has entered into wedlock with IPS officer Manish Kumar, who was previously serving in the Maharashtra cadre.
However, in a recent development, Manish’s cadre has been shifted to Rajasthan where Riya is currently posted. To commemorate their new posting and celebrate their marriage, a grand reception will be held in Jaipur.
The couple’s journey began when they first crossed paths at the prestigious Mussoorie Academy. Over time, their friendship blossomed into a deep bond of love, leading them to decide to embark on the lifelong journey of marriage. In April this year, Riya and Manish officially tied the knot in a court ceremony, marking the beginning of their married life.
Expressing her delight, Jaisalmer Collector Tina Dabi shared her joy and blessings for the newlyweds. She conveyed her heartfelt wishes for their happiness and success in their personal and professional lives.
Preparations are now underway for the forthcoming reception, which will be held in Jaipur in the coming months, bringing together the families and friends of both Riya and Manish.
Highlighting the career progression of the couple, it is noteworthy that Riya Dabi is currently serving as an Assistant Collector in the Alwar district. Both Riya and Manish belong to the 2021 batch. Manish Kumar, hailing from Delhi, pursued his B.Tech before dedicating himself to civil services. His first posting was in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
