Jaipur: Yet another honor killing case has been reported in Rajasthan. A man killed his daughter for eloping with her paramour after he married her off to someone she didn’t want to stay with. The case was reported in Samer village in Sikar’s Khatu Shyam Ji area. The father walked to the police station after killing his daughter and surrendered. The cops were shocked to hear his story how he brutally killed his daughter.

The accused was identified as Bhanwar Singh. He had married off her daughter on April 27, 2016. A few days after her marriage, the woman, Chainsa Kanwar, eloped with her friend who lives in Samer village.

The family members registered a missing person’s report with the police after her disappearance. The police traced the woman and detained the man she had eloped with, but she supported him in her statement to the police. The woman then again started living with the man.

On Wednesday, Bhanwar Singh was onboard a bus. He was traveling to Sikar from Khatu Shyam Ji when he spotted his daughter in the same bus.

The father lured her into coming with him to their house. He repeatedly hit his daughter on her head with a stone and then strangled her to death.

Bhanwar Singh then went to the local police station and turned himself in.
