Gruesome murder in Amber: Property dealer stabbed to death
The deceased was later identified as Mukesh Saini, a resident of Pandali Ki Dhani in Amber area. He was a property dealer. Mukesh had left home around 9 pm on Thursday. When his cousin left home looking for Mukesh, he found him missing.
Jaipur: A man, identified as Mukesh Saini (27), was brutally murdered in Amber area of the city. His body was found in an agriculture farm early on Friday. The police have rounded up two men and said that the possibility of an extra marital affair being the motive behind the murder is being probed. The police have taken into custody a relative and a friend of the victim. The victim’s wife is also under scanner.
The body was found near Tapta Chauraha in Amber. The deceased was later identified as Mukesh Saini, a resident of Pandali Ki Dhani in Amber area. He was a property dealer, according to preliminary reports. Mukesh had left home around 9 pm on Thursday. When his cousin left home looking for Mukesh, he found him missing. His phone was also switched off.
Some people spotted the body and informed the police control room following which a police team was rushed to the spot. A forensic examination by experts was also conducted. The body was put in the mortuary of a government hospital for postmortem examination.
The police informed the family members after the victim was identified. The family members have named some suspects; however further investigation is going on.
Two suspects were rounded up and interrogation with them is going on.
The police are also studying the call record of the victim’s mobile phone and recording statement of his family members and friends.
“Prima-facie it seems that the man was stabbed repeatedly and his body was dumped in the agriculture farm. The cause of death will be ascertained after we receive the postmortem report,” said a police officer.
