Jaipur: The Rajasthan Housing Board has cleared several major residential projects across the state. These include new construction in Jaipur’s Pratap Nagar and approvals for housing schemes in Baran and Udaipur.

A high-level meeting was held on Wednesday at the Housing Board headquarters. The session was led by Vaibhav Galriya, Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department. In the meeting, a plan to build 84 high-end 3BHK and 4BHK flats in Jaipur was approved.

These flats will be constructed under the Greenwood Iconic Tower scheme in Sector-28 of Pratap Nagar. Officials confirmed that the application process for the flats will start soon. The project aims to cater to the housing needs of the high-income segment.

In Baran district, a separate proposal was cleared. It includes 497 residential plots in village Gopalpura. The scheme is expected to cover nearly 14.68 hectares of land.

Meanwhile, in Udaipur, the board approved revised plans under the Panerio Ki Madri scheme. These include flats for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and the Lower Income Group (LIG). Plans also include housing provisions for Middle Income Groups under MIG-A and MIG-B categories.

Dr. Rashmi Sharma, the Housing Commissioner, shared updates about the approved projects. Chief Town Planner Anil Mathur presented detailed layouts and site maps during the session.

These new developments are expected to offer a much-needed boost to affordable and premium housing in Rajasthan.
