Five students injured as overspeeding tanker rams into their bikes

Jaipur: Five students who were on their way to appear in an exam were seriously injured on Sunday when an over-speeding tanker rammed into their bikes in Vishwakaram area in Jaipur. The five victims were on two bikes. It was a hit and run case as the tanker driver sped away from the spot after the mishap.

The mishap occurred on Road Number – 14 in VKI.

A police team rushed to the spot and arranged for an ambulance to take the victims to the hospital for treatment.

“The condition of one of the victims is critical. We have registered an FIR against the tanker driver for rash and negligent driving. Further investigation is going on,” said a police officer.
