First phase of Rajasthan Jail Prahari exam 2018 cancelled, new dates to be announced soon

Jaipur: The first phase of Rajasthan Jail Prahari (Jail guard) recruitment exam 2018, which was held on Sunday, has been cancelled.
The decision was taken by Sardar Patel Police University on Tuesday after Rajasthan SOG revealed that the paper had been leaked. The new dates for the exams have not been announced yet.

The Sardar Patel Police University decided to cancel the exams as the answer keys for the exam were already out.
Rajasthan Jail Prahari (Jail guard) recruitment exam 2018 was held on October 28 from 9 am to 11 am in the state. Police arrested two candidates identified as Omveer Singh alias Kalu (22) and Radheshyam Ram Aheer (20), belonging to Haryana and Kaladra area in Jaipur with answer keys.
DG Jail, Bhupendra Singh said on Tuesday, “The first phase of Jail Prahari Exam 2018 is being cancelled due to the cheat cases. Fraud like these creates problem to other candidates and the whole department. The exam will happen again in near future. We will soon release the new dates for the exam”.
Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) on Sunday arrested two men from Arya College of Engineering and Technology in Kukus with answer keys for Jail Prahari 2018 exam. The arrests suggest that the paper was leaked as the questions that came in the exam matched with those found in the answer key.
