Firing at lecturer’s house creates panic in Dausa

Jaipur: Some unidentified men opened firing at the house of a lecture in Aman Bihar Colony of Dausa. The incident took place late night on Monday. The firing created panic in the area as the gunshots were heard throughout the neighbourhood.

The police are investigating as to why the shooting took place. They are recording the statements of the lecturer and his family members to know if they had an animosity with someone linked to organized crime.

The shooters were probably on bikes and sped away after firing at the house. The family members informed the police following which a team from Kotwali police station rushed to the spot. The police have recovered a cartridge from the spot.

Kotwali SHO Naresh Meena reached the spot. The police team recorded the statement of family members and neighbours. Police are examining footages of CCTVs installed in the colony and are trying to identify the shooters.
