Jaipur: In good news to farmers in Rajasthan, the newly formed Congress government has announced to benefit the farmers who pay their debts on time along with defaulters on Saturday.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held his first meeting with cabinet ministers on Saturday and announced several key decisions on the governance strategies.

He along with other councils of ministers reviewed some of the decisions taken under the BJP-led government.

One of the key decisions of the cabinet meeting was to benefit the farmers of Rajasthan who pay their debts on time. A committee will be formed in regard with farmers loan waiver.

The election manifesto of 418 points will also be implemented. Every cabinet minister has been given 100 days to plan for the changes in their respective departments.

After 100 days, the ministers will have to submit a compliance report to CM. The issues such as farmers debt waiver, employment generation, and agenda of good governance were discussed in the meeting on Saturday.

A decision from the Rajasthan tourism department came on Saturday to start reusing the same slogan and logo that the previous Congress government used for tourism-related promotional campaigns.

Before the BJP government came to power, the slogan used to be ‘Padharo Marey Desh’. It was changed to ‘Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’ during the Vasundhara Raje government.
