Jaipur: There is some great news for wildlife lovers in the city. The long-awaited Exotic Park in Nagargarh Biological Park will likely be launched from mid-July. The tourists and city residents will be able to go on a safari in the park during the monsoon, senior wildlife department officials said adding that the preparations are in full swing and they are waiting for the hippo to arrive. As soon as the hippo is relocated to Nahargarh, the Exotic Park will be thrown open for the tourists.

The lion safari has already made the biological park very popular among kids, families and tourists. The Exotic Park will further boost the tourist footfall, the officials said.

“The Exotic Park will be spread over an area of 26 hectares. The visitors will be able to enjoy the sighting of rare wildlife animals including zebra and hippo in a gypsy. The gypsy booking price is yet to be determined, but we are planning to have a consolidated entry ticket for lion safari, biological park zoo and exotic park,” said the official.

The Exotic Park was to be launched sooner, but the delay in the relocation of a hippo delayed the plans.
