Employee arrested for murdering water supply contractor in Jawahar Nagar

The accused arrested for murdering water supply contractor Shyam Singh last month.
Jaipur: The city police on Wednesday arrested a man for brutally killing a water supply contractor of JdA. The accused man was an employee of the victim and slit his throat in order to rob him of money. The accused had a girlfriend and he needed money to hang out with her.
The murder took place in Sidharth Nagar under Jawahar Circle police station area on August 23. The victim, Shyam Singh, was asleep when the accused Sunil Yadav entered the room and stabbed Shyam Singh. Sunil slit his throat and then tried to find money on him. When he couldn’t find money, he robbed Shyam Singh of his gold chain.
Shyam Singh started shouting for help. Two other laborers sleeping nearby heard his cries and woke up. The family members rushed Shyam Singh to SMS Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
Sunil is a resident of Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh. He escaped to his native place after the murder. The police launched an investigation and traced him on the basis of his mobile phone location. A team was rushed to UP and Sunil was arrested.
Shyam Singh was a resident of Alwar and stayed in a rented accommodation in Siddharth Nagar. He supplied water to JDA.
