JAIPUR: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced in Jaipur that soon people will be able to travel from Jaipur to Delhi in just two hours using electric buses.

He mentioned that the fares for these buses will be cheaper than the current costs for daily travel. Additionally, Gadkari highlighted India’s new economic milestone, becoming the world’s fifth largest economy.

Gadkari was addressing media persons at the BJP headquarters in the city.

He sai that the government is investing heavily in infrastructure, including the construction of three new greenfield highways, at a cost of Rs. 41,000 crores. The Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway project is also making progress, which will link three major refineries, he added.

Gadkari said that the development of the Jaipur-Delhi electric highway is underway, which will dramatically reduce travel time between the two cities.

In Rajasthan, over 217 underpasses and seven flyovers have been built to improve travel. Also, eco-friendly tunnels have been constructed near the Sariska Tiger Reserve and Ranthambore National Park, marking a first in such eco-sensitive development.
