Earthquake hits Jaipur; Tremors felt
Many people called up their family members to confirm whether they too felt the tremors and checked on their safety.

JAIPUR: People in Jaipur felt tremors around 10.22 pm on Tuesday night.
People felt tremors within the interval of a few seconds.
“I was working on my laptop when I felt strong tremors. I felt the chair and ground shacking. I called out to other family members and rushed out to the balcony. Many people in my colony also came out,” said Prateek Raman, a resident of the Sodala area.
Many people called up their family members to confirm whether they too felt the tremours and checked on their safety.
There were reports of similar tremors in the Delhi-NCR region.
A 6.8-magnitude earthquake is reported to have struck Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush region and as a result, the tremors were felt in northern India.
