Digital Parking app: Now report complaints, book parking online in Jaipur

Jaipur: The city police have launched a mobile application – The Digital Parking – to enable Jaipurites to report vehicles parked illegally in no parking zones. The Digital Parking App is live and can be downloaded from the Google app store, senior police officers said. You can also book parking at certain parking places through the app. The parking will be reserved for your vehicle after online booking.

The mobile app will be monitored from the Abhay Command Centre. The people don’t have to call the police control room for reporting stranded and illegally parks any more. They just need to register on the app once and lodge a report through the app with just a few clicks.

“With this app, we have tried to make reporting illegally parked vehicles to the police more convenient for people. It will also make it easier for the police to segregate parking-related complaints from other types of information we receive through the police control room. Earlier people had to call the police control room to report illegally parked vehicles. The police control room receives all types of calls so the process to deal with parking complaints was a bit disorganized. This app will streamline the whole process,” said a senior police officer.

After receiving a parking-related complaint, the traffic policemen will be assigned to look into it and seize vehicles parked illegally in the city.
