Jaipur: Rajasthan is set to formally enter the AI-ML policy space with the launch of its dedicated Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI-ML) policy during DigiFest & Global Summit 2026. The policy is expected to lay the foundation for wider adoption of AI-driven technologies in governance, investment, and cybersecurity across the state.
According to officials, the Rajasthan AI-ML Policy 2026 will be launched on January 6 during the Rajasthan Regional AI Impact Conference, which is being organised as part of DigiFest. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will unveil the policy, marking a significant step in the state’s digital transformation roadmap.
The policy launch comes at a time when the state is actively positioning itself as a digital-friendly investment destination. The government expects the summit to open doors for new startup investment proposals worth more than Rs. 200 crore. Senior officials, including Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, are closely monitoring preparations to ensure the event serves as a strong platform for technology-led growth.
On Friday, the Chief Minister visited the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sitapura, the venue for DigiFest & Global Summit 2026, to review on-ground arrangements. He inspected the main event halls and session venues and issued directions to officials to ensure smooth conduct of the summit without inconvenience to participants.
Officials said the AI-ML policy will focus on expanding the use of frontier technologies and artificial intelligence in governance. The government believes that structured adoption of AI will improve service delivery, strengthen cybersecurity frameworks, and promote sustainable technology practices in Rajasthan. The policy is also expected to help attract major investors from the IT sector by providing clarity on the state’s AI vision.
The Regional AI Impact Conference will bring together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies in detail. Over 10,000 participants are expected to attend DigiFest, including founders, CEOs, and investors from more than 1,200 global companies, along with founders of over 20 unicorn and unicorn-stage startups.
Officials said discussions during the summit will cover artificial intelligence, technology innovation, and other critical areas shaping the future of digital governance and enterprise, with the AI-ML policy positioned as the central takeaway from the event.
