Jaipur: Sandeep Yadav, a CRF constable, was martyred in Anantnag area of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. Sandeep Yadav belonged to Bansur area in Alwar district of Rajasthan, according to preliminary reports. The news of the death of one more security personnel from Rajasthan came as a shock  as earlier on Wednesday, an army commando Mukut Bihari Meena who belonged to Jhalawar district was killed in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to reports, two CRPF personnel were killed in a militant attack in Sheer Pora area of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. They were deployed on law and order duty at Achabal Chowk when the militants laid an ambush. One of the jawan killed was CRPF constable Sandeep Yadav. He belonged to Bansur. Sandeep is survived by his wife and two sons.

On Thursday, the body of army commando Mukut Bihari Meena arrived at Jaipur International Airport where he was accorded army honors in presence of Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje. His body was being taken to his native village Ludania near Khanpur in Jhalawar in a chopper. The chopper however couldn’t land due to bad weather conditions and had to return to Jaipur. The chopper had left for Jhalawar till the reports last came in.

Hundreds of people are waiting for the body to arrive, so that final rituals could be performed.

Raje and several other senior politicians expressed grief over the martyrdom.
