CRPF jawan from Rajasthan among three shot dead by colleague in Jammu
The incident happened at the 187th battalion camp of the force in the Battal Ballian area in Udhampur of Jammu. The jawans had an altercation at the camp following which the shootout took place, according to the reports.

Jaipur: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Jawan identified as head constable Pokarmal R from Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan is among the three CRPF personnel who were allegedly shot dead by a colleague over a disagreement at Udhampur camp in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
The incident happened at the 187th battalion camp of the force in the Battal Ballian area in Udhampur of Jammu. The jawans had an altercation at the camp following which the shootout took place, according to the reports.
CRPF jawan constable Ajeet Kumar who hails from Kanpur then shot himself; however, he survived. He is being treated at a military hospital in Jammu. Officers said that he is critically injured.
Senior CRPF officials along with police teams rushed to the camp after getting the information. The bodies of the three jawans were kept in the mortuary and handed over to the family members after the post mortem examination.
According to the police, the incident happened around 10 pm. Ajit Kumar fired at his colleagues with his service rifle over a disagreement.
The deceased CRPF jawans are identified as head constables, Pokarmal R of Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan, Yogendra Sharma of Delhi and Umed Singh of Rewari in Haryana.
Grief gripped the family members of the CRPF jawan Pokarmal R of Jhunjhunu after they got the information. They are demanding justice for their son.
A similar case happened earlier in January. A CRPF jawan fired at his two colleagues before killing himself at a camp in Panthchowk in Srinagar on January 7. Senior officials said that he was disturbed due to “personal issues”.
