COVID-19 spread breaks yet another record in Rajasthan; 2148 cases in a day

Jaipur: Rajasthan reported 2148 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, the highest ever in a single day. The spread of the virus is breaking records in the state every day. The capital city – Jaipur – is the worst affected by the virus with 422 cases being reported on Tuesday. This is also the highest ever number of cases in a single day in Jaipur. The areas such as Mansarovar are apparently entering the community transmission phase. On Tuesday, Mansarovar reported 96 cases.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Jaipur has gone up to 133119. The number of active is also increasing at a rapid pace and now stands at 20376. The state reported 15 more deaths. The virus has claimed 1471 lives, as per the government records.
