Couple found brutally murdered in their bedroom in Kota

The brutal murders took place in Kailashpuri Colony.

Jaipur: A man, identified as Bajrang Singh Naruka, and his wife were found brutally murdered in the bedroom of their house in Kailashpuri Colony in Kota late on Saturday. Panic swept through the area after people came to know about the murders.

The neighbors saw a youth jump over the boundary wall of the elderly couple’s house. They checked on the couple and found their bodies lying in a pool of blood on the floor and the bed. They informed the Railway Nagar colony police. The police have found the murder weapon.

The victim, Bajrang Singh Naruka, is a retired railway employee.

Some neighbors heard strange noises and commotion coming out of the house. They then saw a youth jump over the house’s boundary wall and fled away.

The neighbors knocked on the door and woke up the tenant living on the ground floor.

The neighbor and the tenant went to the first floor where they found the bodies of Naruka and his wife Sadhana Singh. The body of Naruka was on the bed, while that of his wife was on the floor. She was almost necked.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot after they got information about the murder.

The police have prima-facie ruled out robbery as nothing was found missing from the house.

The neighbors told the police that the couple’s daughter lived in Jaipur. She was married.
