Coronavirus: Vasundhara Raje, son in self-quarantine

Jaipur: Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje and her son Dushyant Singh are in self-quarantine after they came in contact with Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor who has been tested positive for Coronavirus. They attended a party with Kanika. Vasundhara revealed this on Twitter.

While in Lucknow, I attended a dinner with my son Dushyant & his in-laws. Kanika, who has unfortunately tested positive for #Covid19 was also a guest.

As a matter of abundant caution, my son & I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions.

Vasundhara Raje and Dushyant Sing have isolated themselves. Vasundhara had attended a party in Lucknow recently. Kanika Kapoor also attended the party. When the singer developed Coronavirus symptoms, she was screened and tested positive.

Kanika was in London and returned to Lucknow on March 9. She stayed in her apartment in Lucknow and attended a party in Hotel Taj. Vasundhara, her son and her daughter-in-law were there. Several other Uttar Pradesh politicians were also present.

“We both are in self-quarantine and are taking necessary precautions,” said Raje.
