Construction of swimming pool at Chogan Stadium to begin from May 1

Jaipur:  In good news to Jaipurites, a swimming pool will soon be constructed at the city’s Chogan Stadium located near Gangori Bazar in Jaipur. Officials said that the work under the project will start from May 1 and will be completed in four years.

According to the officials, people will not have to go to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Stadium for swimming. They will get the facility at Chogan Stadium also.

The administration has received a total of 450 registrations until now. The list is going to grow in the coming years, added officials.

Details of the project:

•    The pool will be 50 m long and its depth will be kept between 3.5 ft and 6.5 ft.

•    A total of 10 shifts of 40 to 45 minutes at morning and evening (5-5 each) will be operated by the administration.

•    A separate shift for female and family will also be there during both the shifts.

Also, the mini swimming pool at SMS Stadium for the students under 18 years of age will start from May 1. Every year, it starts from April 1 to September 30 but there will be a delay this year.
