Coaching student ‘commits’ suicide in Kota

Jaipur: An 18-year-old coaching student identified as Ritika died under mysterious circumstances at her hostel room in Kota on Thursday night. Police officials said that the girl apparently committed suicide. The incident took place in Mahaveer Nagar area in Kota.
The deceased girl -Ritika Yadav (18) – was a resident of Rewari district of Haryana. She was preparing for medical entrance examinations and currently living at Kamla Residency hostel in Kota.
According to the police, Ritika was found in an unconscious state in her hostel room on Thursday night. After the police were informed, a police team from Mahaveer Nagar police station rushed to the spot. The cops took her to a hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead.
The police officials have informed the family members of the incident. The body will be handed over to the relatives after a post-mortem examination.
Police are yet not able to determine as to what caused the death. No suicide note has been recovered. The officials are questioning the hostel staff, her fellow classmates at coaching and family members.
Pramendra Rawat, SHO of Mahaveer police station said that the girl student has committed suicide. The reasons are not clear yet. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. Further investigation is going on.
