JAIPUR: The transfer policy of the medical and health department in Rajasthan continues to cause controversies.

The latest CMHO transfer list came out on Wednesday night.

Dr. Narottam Sharma, who held the post of CMHO in Jaipur for nearly 7 years has been posted as Deputy Director of planning in the directorate.

Dr. Hansraj Badhaliya, who was posted CMHO second, has been transferred to the Directorate. Dr. Vijay Singh Faujdar has been posted as the new CMHO first and Dr. Babulal as CMHO second.

The government doctors alleged that even the best-performing CMHOs were transferred. These CMHOs had done a great job in managing the government schemes during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some of the names in the transfer list include the doctors who have already retired. They include Dr. Omprakash who was posted as add CMHO Chittorgarh. He has been transferred as CMHO even though he retired on July 31.

The transfer of doctors has become a cause of differences among the Rajasthan cabinet ministers recently when the medical and health department released a massive transfer list. Mahesh Joshi, Amin Kagzi and Ved Prakash Solanki had criticized the Rajasthan cabinet minister for health Parsadilal Meena.

Meena hogged controversies when he stated that a ban had been imposed on the deputation of doctors, but he himself posted more than 25 officers and doctors on deputation.
