Cash reward announced for info on paper leak mastermind Jagdish Bishnoi

Any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of Jagdish Vishnoi will be given a cash reward of Rs 25,000. The name of the informant will be kept confidential.

Jaipur: Rajasthan special operations group (SOG) has announced a cash reward of Rs 25,000 on the head of Jagdish Bishnoi who is wanted in many cases of examination paper leaks in the state. The police have intensified search for Jagdish Bishnoi ahead of the upcoming Rajasthan police constable recruitment exam. Sources said that many gangs who were involed in paper leaks are under the scanner of police authorities.

SOG, ADG Umesh Mishra said that any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of Jagdish Vishnoi will be given a cash reward of Rs 25,000. The name of the informant will be kept confidential.

“Jadgish Bishnoi has many cases of paper leaks registered against. He was arrested for the first time five years ago by Shivratan Godara, then SHO of Bajaj Nagar police station. He was released on bail. He has been on the run ever since,” said a police officer.

Bishnoi is a resident of Danta near Sanchore in Jalore district.

Rajasthan police constable recruitment exam will be held on July 14 and July 15. The candidates can get information about the examination center from 4 pm on Wednesday.

The police headquarters (PHQ) had earlier conducted the recruitment exam online, but several cases of cheating were reported following which it was cancelled. The exam is now being conducted off line.

“We want to be extra vigilant this time. All the gangs involved in paper leaks are under our scanner,” said the officer.
