Cartist Automobile Art Festival in Jaipur: What you need to know

Jaipur: If you live in Jaipur or happens to be in the city these days, one of the events you can have on your itinerary is Cartist Automobile Art Festival-2017. The five-day event is being organized from April 12 at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace located on Jacob Road in Jaipur’s Civil Lines area.
Event coordinator Bhuvan Gaur said entry to the event is completely free.
“We have provided on-spot registration facility for visitors. So people just have to walk in,” said Gaur.
Artistes from all over the country are participating in this theme-based art festival. Visitors will see these artists in action as they show their talent and creativity by beautifully painting automobiles including scooters and vintage cars.

According to the organizers, CARTIST which aims to promote young artists, started off as a platform to showcase automobile art but later spread its wings to contemporary and realistic areas of creativity. CARTIST has near about 1000 art works in its collection which include paintings, sketches, pen work, sculptures and fibre body installations.
