Businessman, manager killed after car collides with truck
The victims, identified as businessman Manoj Kankaria (50) and his manager Ishwar Medatiya (40), were killed on the spot.

JAIPUR : In a mishap on Friday, a car collided with a stone-loaded truck on National Highway-125 in Sekhala, near Sarhad Dera in Jodhpur district.
The victims, identified as businessman Manoj Kankaria (50) and his manager Ishwar Medatiya (40), were killed on the spot. The businessman’s son, Hrithik Kankaria (24), who was driving, sustained severe injuries and is now receiving treatment at the trauma center of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital, Jodhpur.
The trio was en route to Jaisalmer for a business tour when the accident occurred. The collision took place near the petrol pump of Dera border, just 90 km from Jodhpur city. The truck, traveling from Balesar to Dera, was struck by the speeding car.
The impact of the collision was so intense that the front of the car suffered extensive damage. The bodies of Manoj Kankaria and Ishwar Medatiya were trapped in the car. A police team rushed to the spot.
A police officer said that the victims were pulled out from the wreckage and transported to the mortuary of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital. Hrithik, the injured son, was rushed to the trauma center for immediate medical attention.
Hrithik underwent a CT scan, received first aid, and is now admitted. Despite severe injuries, he appears to be out of immediate danger.
