Bikaner Camel Festival to be organized on Jan 12 and Jan 13
A large number of foreign and domestic tourists from different parts of the country have started reaching Bikaner to attend this two-day long Camel Festival. The Rajasthan tourism department has completed all the preparations.

Jaipur: Camel Festival 2019- will be organized at Karni Singh Stadium of Bikaner from January 12 to January 13. This two-day event is one of the most popular and biggest camel fairs in Rajasthan.
A large number of foreign and domestic tourists from different parts of the country have started reaching Bikaner to attend this two-day long Camel Festival. The Rajasthan tourism department has completed all the preparations.
Several Rajasthani artists, popular folk dancers, regional singers, professional camel riders have been called to participate in the fair.
Several competitions and activities will be held during the two days followed by cultural programmes in the evening.
The activities such as camel safari for tourists, Bagpiper Band Recital by Army, Camel decoration, fur cutting and dance competitions, Band Recital by R.A.C, Miss Marvan (Beauty Pageant) Competition, Mr. Bikana Competition and cultural evenings by Rajasthani and other artists from various parts of India will be held on the first day of the event.
The second day will commence with a heritage walk from Bikaner’s Rampuria Haveli to Bikaji Ki Tekri. Throughout the day, competitions including tug of war, wrestling, Kabaddi, turban tying, water pot race, musical chair, fire dance, and fireworks will be held with participation of local villagers and foreigners.
A prize distribution ceremony will be held on January 13. The winners of the competitions will be awarded for their contribution and participation.
Bikaner Camel Festival is very popular among foreign tourists.
