Bhankrota guest house murder accused arrested from Kota

The police officials said that Gurudutt had hired the cab. Hargovind, a resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, was the driver. Hargovid was staying at Jai Guest House in Bhankrota. Gurudutt murdered the driver with an intention to rob him of his car.

Gurudutt Singh who murdered a cab driver in a guest house

Jaipur: Bhankrota police in Jaipur on Monday arrested one Gurudutt Singh, for murdering a cab driver Har Govind in a guest house on Ajmer Road in Bhankrota area earlier this month. The man, a resident of Delhi, had booked the cab in the name of Narendra Jha.

When the police reached Narendra Jha’s house in Delhi, they came to know that the accused man was fraudulently using the name. His real name was Gurudutt. He was held in Kota when he was trying to sell the Scorpio car that he took away after murdering Har Govind.

The police officials said that Gurudutt had hired the cab. Hargovind, a resident of Etawah in Uttar Pradesh, was the driver. Hargovid was staying at Jai Guest House in Bhankrota. Gurudutt murdered the driver with an intention to rob him of his car.

“Gurudutt is known criminal. He was trying to sell the Scorpio in Kota when he was arrested,” said a police officer.
The police had obtained some CCTV footages showing the suspect involved in the brutal murder at Jai Guest House. The man had killed the 24-year-old cab driver by stabbing him with a shape-edged weapon. Footages show him walking away from the hotel after the murder.

“We have recovered the weapon used in the murder. A pistol and some cartridges were also seized from the suspect’s possession,” said the officer.

When the guest house employees saw blood-stained footprints outside the room, they informed the police following which the gruesome murder came to light.
