Bengaluru shamed again, woman in burqa attacked and molested in public

Bengaluru has been put to shame again! Already facing a storm of criticism over molestation of several women on New Year’s Eve, the city’s head hung in shame on Friday. A woman wearing a burqa was reportedly assaulted and molested by an unknown man.
The woman was on her way to office when she was ambushed, pinned to the ground and molested. She cried for help. She sustained minor injuries on her limbs and tongue.
The incident was reported in Bengaluru’s KG Haali residential area. The woman was rescued when the commotion irked some street dogs who started barking uncontrollably. This alarmed the colony residents. They came out and saw the woman lying on the ground. The suspect had disappeared from the scene by then. The residents rushed the woman to a hospital for treatment.

The police have registered an FIR and said that they have launched an investigation.
The police are already under pressure to arrest all the suspects involved in public molestation of girls on New Year’s Eve.
On December 31, two men intercepted a woman walking home. They molested her and threw her to the ground. The incident was caught by a CCTV installed at a nearly house. The video went viral drawing a storm of criticism on social media.
