Bank manager’s son kidnapped from Jaipur for ransom, rescued from Karauli

An FIR was lodged by Archana Meena, a resident of Pawan Vihar Colony of Pratapnagar in Jaipur on Tuesday. She alleged that some unidentified men abducted his brother Ankur Meena around noon on Monday. The abductors asked for ransom of Rs. 30 Lakh and threatened to kill Ankur.

Jaipur: A bank official’s son named Ankur Meena was kidnapped from Pratapnagar area in Jaipur on Monday. The abductors asked for a ransom of Rs. 30 Lakh and threatened to kill Ankur. Police officials traced the location of the call and found Ankur after eight hours of operation in Karauli district on Tuesday. However, the abductors managed to flee from the spot.

An FIR was lodged by Archana Meena, a resident of Pawan Vihar Colony of Pratapnagar in Jaipur on Tuesday. She alleged that some unidentified men abducted his brother Ankur Meena around noon on Monday. The abductors asked for the ransom of Rs. 30 Lakh and threatened to kill Ankur.

After getting the information through Archana, the police team launched a search for the kidnappers and Ankur. Police team traced the location of the Ankur’s call and reached the spot.

Police found Ankur in a hilly area at Karauli district. However, the miscreants managed to flee from the spot.

As per Archana’s statement, an unidentified man came to their house on Monday and called Ankur to the door. Ankur had a conversation with him for a few minutes at the door and then left with him.
At evening on Monday, Ankur called his father from his number and informed him about the kidnap. He said that the abductors are asking for the ransom and threatened to kill him if it was not paid.
Police are searching the kidnappers and further investigation is going on.
