The oath ceremony of Rajasthan’s new Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and new Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has been started at Albert Hall in Jaipur on Monday.

Jaipur: The oath ceremony for Rajasthan new Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and new Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has begun at Albert Hall in Jaipur. Congress national president Rahul Gandhi has reached Albert Hall to attend the ceremony.

Rajasthan chief minister CM Ashok Gehlot and Deputy CM Sachin Pilot took oath at 11:00 am. Senior leaders started leaving the place after the ceremony to Jaipur Airport. CM Ashok Gehlot reached Moti Doongri temple after swearing-in ceremony. Congress Senior leaders will reach Chhattisgarh to attend the oath ceremony of Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister.

Others who have arrived at Albert Hall include former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress president Rahul Gandhi and outgoing CM Vasundhara Raje, Navjotsingh Sidhu, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sharad Pawar, Sharad Yadav, Kumari Shelja, Avinash Pande and Praful Patel.

Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot reached Albert Hall on Sunday to inspect the preparations for the ongoing swearing-in ceremony.

Armed police forces and security forces have been deployed for security around the area. All the routes coming to Albert Hall on JNL route and Ramnivas Bagh Gate on Sunday have been closed for traffic. No traffic is being allowed in Ramniwas Bagh area.

The decision to hold the oath-taking ceremony at Albert Hall was taken after the Rajasthan high court turned down the request for the same on Jan Path. The court had suggested that the ceremony could be held at Amrudon Ka Bagh. The oath ceremony usually takes place at either Raj Bhavan or Jan Path in Jaipur.
