JECRC hosts a roadshow organized by Google and MeitY

The second edition of Google Appscale Roadshow 2023 was held at JECRC University to foster a startup culture in Rajasthan. Google experts participated and shared insights on the latest trends and technology with students.

The Google Appscale Roadshow 2023 was organized in partnership with the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). This nationwide roadshow made a stop at JECRC University in Rajasthan.

Over 130 startups from JECRC Incubation Center and over 50 startups from the state participated in the program. The keynote speaker, Aditya Lal, a Google Developer for Android, spoke on “Android Building for Everyone.”

Ashutosh Sharma, a Play Partnership specialist from Google, discussed “Best Practices on Google Play” and “Appscale Academy.” Virtual mode speaker Parnikita Lalwani, the founder of Cruise App, shared his thoughts on app users.

MeitY’s Senior Project Manager, Chittaranjan Sethi, announced that MeitY has supported 850 startups from 51 Incubation Centers nationwide with a fund of 500 crores. He mentioned that three startups from JECRC Incubation Center have received grants from Mitty. Sethi explained that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Startup Hub operates under the concept of “Innovation-Connect-Collaborate.”

Sethi also stated that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Startup Hub is built on the idea of “Innovation-Connect-Collaborate.” The program will select 100 startups and aid them in scaling through their apps. Startups based on apps will receive guidance, and discussions on crucial aspects of startup growth will be held.

Dhimant Agarwal, CEO of JECRC Incubation Center, expressed gratitude to MeitY and Google, stating that programs like this aid in the development of new skills and create employment opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs.
