Another coaching student commits suicide in Kota
Jitesh was a resident of Shivang district in Bihar and was staying in a paying guest facility in Mahaveer Nagar police station area.
Jaipur: Suicides continues to rock Kota – the medical and engineering coaching hub of the country. Another coaching student, identified as Jitesh Kumar, committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday. This is the third case of suicide by a coaching student in Kota in the past four days.
According to preliminary reports, Jitesh was a resident of Siwan district in Bihar and was staying in a paying guest facility in Mahaveer Nagar police station area.
A police team rushed to the spot after getting the information about the fresh suicide case. The body has been put in the mortuary of a hospital for a post-mortem examination. Police officials said that the family members of the student have been informed and they are waiting for them to arrive in Kota. The post-mortem examination will be conducted in their presence.
It was yet unclear whether the cops recovered a suicide note. Police officials said that further investigation is going on. They will record statements of the family members, teachers of the coaching institute, hostel administration officials and others to know as to why Jitesh took the extreme step.
Two coaching students – identified as Disha Singh and Deepak Dadhich – committed suicide in two separate incidents in Kota on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
On Sunday, 18-year-old Disha Singh hanged herself from the ceiling of her hostel room. Disha was a resident of Ramkhola Khushinagar and was living in a hostel in Landmark City. Deepak Dadhech committed suicide by hanging himself at his coaching institute situated in RK Puram on Saturday.
