Ajmer: Bus falls into roadside ditch; 35 passengers injured
The incident happened near Badgaon area around 11 am, when the bus was on its way to Vijay Nagar from Sarwad in Ajmer on Tuesday.

Jaipur: An over speeding private bus carrying 45 passengers fell into a roadside ditch in Ajmer on Tuesday. At least 35 passengers sustained injuries. Some of the injured passengers are in critical condition. The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where their treatment is going on. No casualties were reported.
The incident happened near Badgaon area around 11 am, when the bus was on its way to Vijay Nagar from Sarwad in Ajmer on Tuesday.
Panic gripped the passengers when the bus lost balance and fell into the roadside ditch. It is suspected the bus lost balance because the driver was overspeeding. However, there were also reports that he was trying to save an animal who accidentally came on the road. Due to the bus’s speed and sudden turn, it lost balance and fell into the ditch.
The locals informed the police about the incident.
Senior police officials along with rescue teams reached the spot and pulled the passengers out of the bus. Many got stuck in the vehicle. They were rushed to the nearby hospital.
A large crowd of relatives gathered at the hospital after the police informed the family members of the accident.
