AIIMS results 2019: Five Jaipur boys in top 100

Jaipur: Five students from Jaipur are among the top 100 in the AIIMS results 2019 declared late on Wednesday. Tapish Sharma became the Jaipur topper by security 32nd rank, according to the reports. There were four Jaipur students among top 100 last year. The students from Jaipur gave a good performance in NEET 2019 too.
The exam was conducted for 1200 seats in nine AIIMS colleges situated in New Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Raipur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Guntur, Bhuvneshwar and Rishikesh. Nearly 3500 students were declared qualified.
Here are the five top performers from Jaipur:
Tapish Sharma (rank — 32)
Megha Gupta (rank – 44)
Nalin Khandelwal (rank – 73)
Nishant Soni (rank – 83)
Mohit Sharma (rank – 91)
Four of these five students are likely to be qualified for admission in AIIMS Delhi. Nalin Khandelwal was all India topper in NEET 2019. Experts say that AIIMS entrance test is usually tougher than NEET.
The counselling for the 1200 seats will begin on June 20. The exam was conducted on May 25 and May 26.
Experts said the performance of students from Jaipur is getting better in medical entrance tests with each passing day. The NEET topper was from Jaipur this year.
Five students were among top 100 in NEET 2018. The number went up to seven this year. Lalit Agarwal secured 24th rank, Megha Gupta 94, Utkarsh Sharma 86, Saksham Choudhary 95 and Sameer Godara 12 and Naveen Kumar Sharma 72.
