Advocate dies under mysterious circumstances in Jaipur; Family cries foul

JAIPUR: A 42-year-old advocate residing Swarn Path area of Mansarovar in Jaipur, died after allegedly consuming poison.
The advocate, identified as Anmol, had left his house after attending a phone call. When he returned, he complained of deteriorating health and collapsed on the ground after losing consciousness. He was rushed to SMS Hospital where he succumbed to the poisoning during treatment on Monday evening.
A postmortem examination was conducted at SMS Hospital’s mortuary. A case of abetment to suicide has been registered by Anmol’s brother, Ashok Chaturvedi. The police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the advocate’s death.
Ashok, in his statement, revealed that Anmol, who was a father to four-year-old twins, had been displaying signs of distress in recent days but hadn’t shared the reason with his family.
They got suspicious when they checked the phone records of Anmol’s mobile records. When they attempted to contact the last caller, the caller rejected the call and blocked the number.
