Jaipur: Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday arrested the financial advisor of Greater Municipal Corporation in Jaipur on charges of collecting bribes from contractors through two middlemen. The two middlemen were also arrested.
The ACB recovered a cash amount of Rs 27 lakh and documents showing ownership of more than 10 pieces of agricultural land documents from the house of one of the brokers.
ACB DG BL Soni said that the accused officer, Achaleshwar Meena, is a financial advisor in Municipal Corporation Greater, Jaipur. The two middlemen were identified as Dhankumar Jain and Anil Agarwal.
