138 new COVID-19 cases reported in Rajasthan; death toll reaches 117

Jaipur: The state reported 138 fresh COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. With 42 people testing positive, Udaipur reported the highest number of cases, followed by Jaipur (34), Jodhpur (25), and Kota (5).
The virus has claimed 117 lives with 4 more deaths reported on Tuesday.

The total case count has crossed 4000 in Rajasthan. As many as 2378 people have recovered from the virus and tested negative. Of them, 2111 have been discharged from hospitals. The state now has 1555 active cases.
“The total case count has gone up to 4126, but the good news is that the majority of people who tested positive are recovering. There are nearly 1500 active cases in the state,” said a senior administration officer.
