65-year-old woman found murdered at house in Jaipur

Jaipur: A 65-year-old woman was found murdered in her house at the backside of Hotel Neelam near Polo Victory in Sindhi Camp police station area. She had been living alone in her house for the past two years and was a diabetic patient. Someone saw her lying in a pool of blood on Tuesday morning and informed the police. The cops have launched an investigation. Police suspect that a sharp-edged weapon was used to slit her through.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old woman Aasifa. She had three daughters who got married and a son who is currently living in Tonk. Injury marks were found on her head and face during the medical examination. She was brutally murdered. The house had also been ransacked.

The deceased was a diabetic patient and a local compounder used to visit her to provide medicines and treatment. When the compounder reached her place on Tuesday morning, he saw Aasifa lying on the floor in a pool of blood. He informed the police immediately.

Police officials with FSL team reached the spot on Tuesday. They collected evidence from the house and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.

Police informed the relatives of the woman and handed over the body to them.
