6.48 lakh students to appear in RAS (prelim) exam in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Nearly 6.48 lakh students will appear in RAS (prelim) examination being conducted by of Rajasthan Public Service Commission on Wednesday. The exam will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. RPSC has set up control rooms at all district headquarters where students can contact if they face any issues including the location of the examination centres.
The maximum number of examination centres have been set up in Jaipur. The district has 249 centres, while the lowest number of centres is 13 in Dholpur. Also, 141 centres have been set up in Ajmer, where 48,000 candidates will appear in the exam. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre an hour before the paper begins.
Exams will be held at 18 centres in Beawar, 18 in Kishangarh, 4 centres in Nasirabad. The Commission had released the advertisement of RAS-RTS 2021-22 on July 20. The process of online application was supposed to begin from July 28 to August 27, but it was postponed. Later the new date was announced. Online applications were processed from August 4 to September 2.
The paper of RAS Pre-2021 will be on General Knowledge and General Science. The candidate will get three hours to solve this question paper with 200 marks. This information has been given in the examination scheme and syllabus released by the commission. There will be only one question paper in the preliminary examination. The questions will be objective. The purpose of the exam is to conduct a screening test only.
