Jaipur: Nearly 4.5l lakh people offered the namaz for Eid-ul-Fitr in Jaipur on Saturday. It is believed that Eidgah was the biggest congregation of people to offer prayers in the country. People around the Jaipur broke their fast after the holy month of Ramadan came to a close. After offering prayers, people celebrated the festival.
Chief minister Vasundhara wrote on her twitter handle, “Best wishes to the people of Rajasthan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. I would request my Muslim brothers and sisters to pray for the peace and prosperity in the state”.
