33,000 forms received online for admission in RU constituent colleges

Jaipur: Rajasthan University (RU) has received more than 33,000 forms from students seeking admission in its constituent colleges including Rajasthan College, Maharani College, Maharaja College and Commerce College. Over 5 students are competing for each seat in these colleges. The applications were received from not only Rajasthan, but many other states also. The BSc at Maharani College is the most sough-after undergraduate course where 14 students are competing for each seat.

Monday was the last day for applying for RU admissions 2019-20 online. The RU administration received more than 5,000 applications on Monday alone.

Rajasthan College’s BA pass course is also very popular among students. Nine students are competing for each seat. Similarly, more than seven students are competing for each seat of Maharaja College BSc course. For Commerce College’s BCom course, four students are competing for each seat.

“The online application process for admission in RU constituent colleges has been completed. We will soon start releasing cut-off marks for colleges,” said a senior RU administration officer.
