3 new direct flights from Jaipur to Ranchi, Nagpur, Patna from May-end

JAIPUR: Indigo Airlines is set to expand its flight network by offering direct air connectivity from Jaipur to Ranchi, Nagpur, and Patna, according to a senior official at Jaipur Airport.
The move comes as the airline prepares for the summer schedule, with direct flights to Ranchi commencing for the first time ever.
“The proposed direct flight from Jaipur to Ranchi, flight 6E-291, is scheduled to begin on May 30, departing from Jaipur at 7:15 am and arriving in Ranchi at 9:05 am,” said the senior official. The flight will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
In addition to Ranchi, Indigo Airlines plans to reintroduce a direct flight to Nagpur from May 29. Flight 6E-289 will depart from Jaipur at 7:15 am, arriving in Nagpur at 8:55 am, and will operate four days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Patna will also see the resumption of direct flights from Jaipur starting May 29, following the discontinuation of this route in September last year. The daily flight, 6E-305, will depart from Jaipur at 12 noon and reach Patna at 1:40 pm.

“The airline has submitted a proposal to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the approval of the operation and schedule of all three flights, and we anticipate the approval to come through soon,” added the official.
Given the lack of train connectivity between Rajasthan and these three cities, it is expected that the airfares for these new routes will be relatively high.
The introduction of these direct flights will significantly benefit travelers and further strengthen Indigo Airlines’ presence in the region.
