Jaipur: The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) is set to launch three major housing schemes simultaneously, offering a total of 765 residential plots across prime locations in and around Jaipur. The official launch will take place on May 12, with urban development minister Jhhabar Singh Khara inaugurating the schemes at the JDA office. Applications for the plots will be accepted online from May 13 to June 12.

This long-awaited initiative was initially scheduled for a March launch but was delayed due to pending registration with RERA. The three schemes will be developed in Daulatpura, Chaksu, and Bassi, offering plots of varying sizes and price ranges to suit different budgets and needs.

The housing schemes include Ganga Vihar, Yamuna Vihar, and Saraswati Vihar. Ganga Vihar in Bassi will offer 233 plots at a reserved price of Rs 14,000 per square metre. It is strategically located 2.5 kilometres from Jaipur-Agra Highway, behind the agricultural grain market and close to Bassi railway station, with a 30-metre-wide approach road planned for easy access.

Yamuna Vihar in Chaksu’s Kathawala area will have 232 plots priced at Rs 15,500 per square metre. The location is well-connected, situated near Tonk Road and 39 kilometres from Jaipur International Airport, providing excellent connectivity for residents.

The largest of the three, Saraswati Vihar in Daulatpura’s Bainadmay village, offers 300 plots at a highly competitive rate of Rs 11,000 per square metre. The site lies 3.4 kilometres from Bainad railway station, near Daulatpura underpass, and about 6.1 kilometres from Sikar Road. Work on plot demarcation and infrastructure development has already begun at Saraswati Vihar.

Plot sizes across all three schemes will range from small to large categories to accommodate varied housing needs. Sizes include up to 45 square metres, 46-75 square metres, 76-120 square metres, 121-220 square metres, and plots over 220 square metres.

The JDA has already approved an investment of Rs 15 crore for preparatory work on these projects. This includes road construction and plot demarcation. While initial work at Saraswati Vihar has started, similar work at Ganga Vihar and Yamuna Vihar will commence soon after the official launch.

Officials said the response to previous housing schemes has encouraged JDA to come up with these new projects, aimed at addressing the growing demand for residential plots in Jaipur and its suburban areas.
