26 people living in a house test positive for COVID-19 in Subhash Chowk

Jaipur: As many as 26 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Subhash Chowk area of Jaipur on Tuesday. The people are said to be tenants living in the same building. Panic gripped Subhash Chowk and nearly Ramganj area as the news spread. Ambulances lined up in Chanakya Marg where the house was located.

Rajasthan reported 369 cases on Tuesday, the highest ever in a day. Of them, 100 cases were reported in Jaipur alone. Nine more people died of the virus infection.

Ramganj in Jaipur also reported 10 new COVID-19 cases. The following areas in Jaipur district reported new cases on Tuesday:

The government appealed that the people should continue to follow social distancing guidelines even as the lockdown restrictions have been relaxed.
