174 fresh COVID-19 cases in Rajasthan; curfew in Sodala and Agrawal Farm colonies in Jaipur

Jaipur: COVID-19 cases continue to rise at an alarming pace in Rajasthan. On Monday, the state reported 174 new coronavirus cases. Of them, 28 were in Jaipur. Curfew was imposed in some colonies of Sodala and Agrawal Farm. The highest number of cases in Jaipur was reported in Jalupura. Eight people tested positive for the virus here. The total case count has gone up to 3988 in the state.

The virus claimed the live of five more people on Monday, taking the death toll to 113. There are 1551 active COVID-19 cases in the state. Udaipur reported 49 cases on Monday, the highest in the state. The authorities are imposing restrictions in the City of Lakes in various areas to contain the spread of the virus.
